Located along the urban boulevard which crosses the town of Marche-en-Famenne, the square of the pond is edged with trades, a cinema and a coffee restaurant. Moreover, it welcomes the House of Tourism.
The project revalorizes a public space which was formerly entirely dedicated to the parking. It aims at arranging a pleasant and accessible space with access to the House of Tourism. The project was conceived to allow all the users of the public space – pedestrian, walker, tourist, motorist, to find their place there. Vegetation is present to give a pleasant framework to this space and to decrease visually the presence of the parking visually. A fountain embedded in the ground is also an element of liveliness
