Located near the village of Niverlée, the site of the Grand Bu lake is part of the green and blue mesh of the commune.
It presents a particularly interesting diversity of environments. As part of a rural development project, following the request of the inhabitants of the neighbouring villages, the project aims to bring together, within the same site, an educational trail of discovery, observation of the wetlands and an area of conviviality.
The project proposed for this site is particularly sensitive. It aims to welcome walkers and nature watchers. Access to the lake is limited and is via an educational trail partially on wooden decking above the water. The path is located to the east of the lake to maintain the tranquillity of the fauna. Two wooden fishing and observation pontoons are planned. The lake, terrestrial and aquatic vegetation are preserved.
The walkers’ reception area is located away from the lake. A picnic area, a play module, bicycle stands, and a few parking spaces in reinforced grass are provided.
