In a site of high quality landscape on the edge of the Meuse river the park of Sauvenière is located at the entry of the village and along the slow way arranged on the towpath.
The park is a place for walking and for resting within a raised and flowered framework. The walker gives up himself there readily with contemplation of the river. An esplanade makes it possible to organize festivals in open air such as the festival around the water. Some remarkable existing trees were preserved. When the night fall their outlines are developed by a lighting of the trunks and foliage. New trees were planted and the War Memorial was restored. The space dedicated to the parking is limited and visually isolated from the park.
